Final game of the two day All-Filipino Basketball tournament held in Koeln last July 2 and 3, 2011 found Bonn Remix competing against Wiesbaden Crossover. It was a tight game with Bonn Remix emerging one again as the victor. The third championship trophy for this group.

Here is the championship ceremony and round robin pictures without the music background.

The same video above but with background music. Unfortunately only viewers outside Germany can view this. Certain legalities about copyright so it seems.

Bonn Remix vs. AM Pinoy

Its getting warm and so is the season to do sports. This July, Barkada Köln hosted its first Filipino Basketball Tournament. It was well attended with 13 teams participating from all over Germany with Luxumberg also competing.

Bonn Remix, the defending champion from the last tournament held in Frankfurt made it again to the semi - finals.  Unfortunately, the Formidable 10 was not complete. Aaron Salangsang played with his home team Wuppertals. Sad to say, his team wasn´t able to survive the knock-out selection.

Here is the video of the game Bonn Remix played against AM Pinoy, the military group that was the former team of Peejay Barrientos.

Bonn Remix vs. Köln

Cologne (German: Köln [kœln]) is Germany's fourth-largest city (after Berlin,Hamburg and Munich), and is the largest city both in the German Federal State of North Rhine-Westphalia and within the Rhine-Ruhr Metropolitan Area, one of the major European metropolitan areas with more than ten million inhabitants.

Bonn and Köln, being just 20 minutes ride apart using private vehicle and 40 minutes aways with the train, are basketball partners. They each had history of exchanging from each team players for tournaments.

This is the second game for the day of Bonn Remix.

Bonn Remix won the game with 26:17.

13 Teams Competing in n2A EPBC

Waiting for the game.

Warm up!

Where's who?

Run Forest, run!

The most valuable player.

13 is said to be unlucky for the superstitious but in this case, it didn't matter at all. The game must go on and it was well attended by teams from different regions of Germany, two of them from the neighboring countries, Belgium and Switzerland.

Here are the thirteen teams as per announced. Sorry I have no photos of the other teams, just that of ours.

1. Pinoy K-Town (AM Pinoy KMC)

2. Barkada Köln Selection from Köln

3. Big Phillies from Bielefeld

4. Pitbull Remix from Frankfurt

5. Bonn Remix from Bonn

6. Frankfurt Unlimited from Frankfurt

7. Dreista Philteam (mix from different teams)

8. PAS Switzerland from Switzerland

9. Stuttgart Knights from Stuttgart

10. Chixboix from Belgium

11. Frankfurt Finest from Frankfurt

12. Frankfurt Thunders from Frankfurt

13. Wiesbaden Crossover from Wiesbaden

It was quite confusing with four teams representing Frankfurt and with the copy of scheduled play having Thunders I and Thunders II listed. Jerseys also don't say the real name of the team so to keep it safe, just wait for which team will go to the scheduled court upon game time.

Get pumped! Get pumped!
